Maryland’s Significant Democratic U.S. Senate Primary Scheduled for May 14th.

In the final hours of her U.S. Senate primary campaign, Angela Alsobrooks, Prince George’s Executive, gathered with other Black women to support her potentially groundbreaking campaign and move closer to achieving a historic position in the country’s political landscape. In Maryland, where nearly 1 in 3 residents is Black, the diverse state with a predominantly blue electorate has seen Black individuals hold significant positions of power, yet no one has made it to the upper chamber of Congress. Alsobrooks aims to change that narrative with her campaign.
