Meadows, Giuliani, and additional Trump supporters face charges in Arizona election investigation

An Arizona grand jury indicted seven individuals associated with Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign and 11 Arizona Republicans on felony charges related to their attempts to overturn Joe Biden’s victory. The indicted include former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, attorneys Rudy Giuliani, Jenna Ellis, John Eastman, and others. They are accused of aiding a strategy to change electoral votes in Trump’s favor. Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes led the investigation, which revealed out-of-state involvement as well. The investigation widened after receiving information from a key player in the elector strategy. The case marks the second round of charges for many involved, including Meadows and Giuliani.
