Mentally, Physically, and Spiritually Exhausted from the Entire Experience

Leah Kateb is shutting down rumors of a significant “blowup” at the Love Island USA reunion and claims she is “done” after filming the special.

After the Season 6 cast of Peacock’s dating reality series was filmed, there was chatter on social media that Kateb called out production and she was done with the show.

Following a content creator who mentioned the drama behind the reunion, Kateb debunked the “blowup” but did confirm she was looking to move away from Love Island USA following the reunion.

“No ‘blow up’ happened at the reunion,” Kateb replied on TikTok. “Y’all make any n everything up.”

She continued, “I’m exhausted mentally, physically, and spiritually from this entire experience. I’m tired. I told them I am DONE after the reunion.”

In a second reply, Kateb added, “That’s all they were getting from me. Respectfully. Everything else I just can’t and they don’t even deserve me. Period moving on.”

Love Island USA Season 6 was a breakout success for Peacock, with viewership doubling on the streamer. The former Islanders have been launched to fame, which has brought into question the aftercare that reality TV personalities receive once the show wraps.

The casting team behind the most recent season of Love Island issued a statement calling out cyberbullying and promoting kindness.

“We want to remind everyone that kindness matters. Cyberbullying is a real issue that can deeply affect our participants,” read the statement on Instagram from City Media Entertainment. “Let’s create a positive environment where everyone feels safe and valued. Please remember, behind every screen is a REAL person with REAL feelings. Your words have power — so, choose to uplift rather than criticize.”

Kateb has been undoubtedly the most popular Love Island USA participant, growing her Instagram following to over 3 million during the show’s Season 6 run on Peacock.
