Mexican authorities positively identified three bodies found in a well as two Australian surfers and one American who went missing on a surfing trip to Mexico. The thieves killed them to steal their truck’s tires and dumped the bodies in a remote well. The bodies were discovered near the last known location of the victims’ tents and truck. Locals gathered in Ensenada to mourn and express anger at the deaths. Three suspects are being held in connection with the case. The victims’ families had appealed for help in finding them after they went missing on April 27.
