The tradition of presenting the Disney Legends Award began in 1987. Each year, new honorees are added to the prestigious list. Recent notable recipients include Christina Aguilera, James Earl Jones, Robert Downey Jr., Chadwick Boseman, and Hans Zimmer, among others.

Now, Miley Cyrus can count herself among the elite group who have received this distinguished honor.

Miley Cyrus could not hold back her tears while accepting this major award and had quite a bit to share about her feelings.
