Mint Butterfield, the missing child of Slack’s co-founder, was found in San Francisco with a 26-year-old man facing kidnapping charges. The 16-year-old, who is nonbinary, disappeared from their Bolinas home. Christopher “Kio” Dizefalo was arrested and is accused of child abduction. Mint was found in Dizefalo’s van in a dangerous neighborhood. Mint, who had previous suicide threats, voluntarily ran away but was uninjured. Mint’s parents thanked investigators for bringing their child home. Mint left a note indicating their intention to run away before being found with Dizefalo, whom authorities suspect of coaxing the teen to run away.
