Morgan Wallen Reactivates Instagram to Share Major Announcement

After stepping away from Instagram last month, Morgan Wallen has made a triumphant return with significant news. The country music star is set to headline a major concert at Knoxville, Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium on September 22. Joining him for this special performance are Hardy and Ernest, two of his closest collaborators and frequent tour partners.

This isn’t Wallen’s first time playing in stadiums. Over the past two years, he’s headlined numerous events during his 2024 One Night at a Time Tour. However, performing at Neyland Stadium holds particular significance for Wallen. Hailing from Sneedville, Tennessee, which is just an hour and a half from Knoxville, Wallen considers this venue a symbol of his East Tennessee roots and pride.

Wallen’s strong connection to East Tennessee is evident in his music, with lyrics often alluding to his home state. He’s also a dedicated fan of the Tennessee Volunteers, the football team that plays at Neyland Stadium. When he announced the upcoming show, Wallen shared that playing at this venue has been a lifelong dream of his.

“I’ve had the honor of playing in a lot of college, MLB, and NFL stadiums over the past two years, but nothing tops playing at my hometown’s Neyland Stadium,” Wallen stated. “For a boy from East Tennessee, this is the pinnacle.”

To build excitement, Wallen also posted a social media reel, captioned “I’m coming home,” generating anticipation among his fans. Tickets for the Neyland Stadium concert will be available to the general public starting Wednesday, July 17.

Recently, Wallen had to postpone several dates of his One Night at a Time tour due to illness. Despite these setbacks, he is set to continue the tour with a packed schedule of domestic and international dates extending into October.
