Mother-daughter cold case finally solved after remains discovered 24 years later following suspect’s deathbed confession

A West Virginia man found closure after authorities discovered the remains of his daughter and her mother following a deathbed confession nearly 24 years after the incident. Larry Webb confessed to shooting Natasha “Alex” Carter and her mother Susan Carter after a dispute over money in 2000. The bodies were buried on Webb’s property. Webb eventually confessed to the killings, leading authorities to find the bodies. The investigation is ongoing, and the remains are with the coroner’s office.
