Authorities in New York City are investigating multiple bomb threats that were made against synagogues. The New York City Police Department confirmed that at least three bomb threats were reported in Manhattan at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, Congregation Beit Simchat Torah, and Chabad of Midtown. Another bomb threat was reported at the Brooklyn Heights Synagogue. These threats were all made through emails claiming explosives were present in or near the buildings. Despite the threats being unfounded, all incidents are under investigation. New York officials, including Governor Kathy Hochul, are closely monitoring the situation and condemning the spread of fear and antisemitism.
