Nina Agdal is taking a stand against online trolls by suing a social media influencer for spreading false and defamatory stories about her.
According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Agdal claims that Hassan Haider repeatedly made up a story in August and September 2023. Haider falsely claimed he had sex with her in a bathroom after showing her a bag of cocaine.
Haider allegedly concocted the tale, saying he met the swimsuit model at a bar in Los Angeles and falsely claiming she exchanged sex for drugs in a public restroom.
Agdal states that Haider live-streamed these lies and subsequently published a YouTube video detailing his fabricated story.
The model further claims that Haider’s motivation was to boost his online presence by exploiting a widespread campaign aimed at harassing her.
Furthermore, Agdal believes that Haider targeted her as part of a smear campaign launched by MMA star Dillon Danis to generate buzz for his upcoming fight against her fiancé, Logan Paul, scheduled for October 2023.
Prior to the fight, Danis began bullying Agdal through messages posted on his X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram accounts. According to the suit, these messages were viewed billions of times on X alone.
In response to these defamatory claims, Agdal is suing Haider for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress, among other charges. She is seeking unspecified damages in her lawsuit.
We reached out to Haider for a comment on the matter, but have yet to receive a response.
