NPR reports over 500 arrests made at pro-Palestinian demonstrations on college campuses

Over 500 people have been arrested across colleges and universities in the U.S. during pro-Palestinian protests, calling for an end to the conflict and for institutions to cut business ties with Israel. Columbia University saw over 100 arrests after police attempted to clear out encampments. The University of Southern California witnessed 93 arrests, including one for assault. USC canceled commencement due to safety concerns, while at The University of Texas at Austin, almost 60 arrests were made for loitering. Arrests were also reported at Emerson College, Princeton University, Emory University, The Ohio State University, and the University of Minnesota.
