NY District Attorney Defies Traffic Stop, Returns Home and Confronts Police Officers

Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley was caught speeding in upstate New York and refused to stop for the police. Instead, she drove back to her house, called the police chief, and complained about the officer who pursued her. Bodycam footage showed a tense exchange between Doorley and the officer, where she showed irritation and reluctance to cooperate. Doorley eventually accepted a ticket and pleaded guilty in court. After the footage was released, she stated that no one, not even a District Attorney, is above the law, including traffic laws, emphasizing her commitment to public safety and law enforcement.
