Odd Ceremony Sees Trump Ridiculed for Acting as President

Donald Trump, who has not entered the White House since leaving office over three years ago, recently gave former Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso a ceremonial key to the building during a visit at Trump Tower in New York. Despite Aso’s questionable history, Trump called it a “great honor” to meet him and presented him with the key. The former president reportedly enjoyed giving away ceremonial keys while in office, even telling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he could use it to gain entry indefinitely. Critics slammed Trump on social media for pretending to still be president and giving out such symbolic gifts.
