Official report confirms teenager of ex-Slack CEO has been safely found following runaway incident

The teenage child of former Slack CEO Stewart Butterfield, Mint Butterfield, was found safely in San Francisco after running away from home. Mint, 16, went missing from Bolinas, California, on April 21 and was located on April 22. San Francisco police found Mint in a white van belonging to Christopher “Kio” Dizefalo, 26, who detectives believed was an “adult friend” of Mint’s. Dizefalo was arrested on suspicion of multiple criminal violations. Mint was unharmed and confirmed to have voluntarily run away. The sheriff’s office continued efforts to locate Mint, who is now back with their family.
