Outer Banks Season 4 Release Split in Two Parts; Watch New Treasure Hunt Trailer

The excitement is palpable as the trailer for Outer Banks Season 4 has just dropped, heralding a new treasure hunt that the Pogues simply can’t resist. Netflix revealed the first glimpse of the drama’s upcoming season, which will be released in two parts across ten episodes. The first five episodes will be available on October 10, and the remaining five episodes will follow on November 7.

The conclusion of Season 3 left fans with an 18-month flash-forward, leaving many questions unanswered. According to the official synopsis, viewers will be treated to flashbacks that fill in the gaps between the Pogues’ return from finding El Dorado gold and their new mission to seek out Blackbeard’s treasure, as suggested by Wes Genrette.

Upon their homecoming to the OBX, the Pogues aim for a semblance of normalcy. They establish a new haven, aptly named ‘Poguelandia 2.0,’ where they work together running a bait, tackle, and charter shop. However, not all is smooth sailing as financial troubles soon force John B., Sarah, Kiara, JJ, Pope, and Cleo to accept Wes’s proposal, pulling them back into a perilous new adventure.

The synopsis provides more insight: “Before they know it, they’re in over their heads, with dangerous enemies pursuing them for the treasure. Their problems continue to mount, making them question their past, present, and future—who they truly are, if the struggle has been worthwhile, and how much they are willing to risk.”

Season 4 promises exciting new faces in recurring roles. J. Anthony Crane, known for Billions, stars as Chandler Groff, a man mourning his wife but welcoming to the Pogues on their latest quest. Pollyanna McIntosh from The Walking Dead plays Dalia, a revolutionary-like leader and worldly antagonist who inevitably collides with the Pogues.

Brianna Brown, famous for Dynasty, will take on the role of Hollis Robinson, the island’s top realtor who once had a successful business deal with Ward Cameron and now has her sights on Rafe for a new venture. Rigo Sanchez of Station 19 will play Lightner, an imposing and cunning stranger with the nerve of a pirate—a dangerous outdoorsman.

Additionally, Mia Challis from FBI: International is set to portray Ruthie, a wild child with a toxic streak who forms a close bond with Topper.

Fans can expect plenty of twists, danger, and camaraderie as the Pogues navigate their new challenges in the latest chapter of their adventure. With new enemies and mysteries to unravel, Season 4 promises to be another thrilling ride.

Anticipation is high as viewers await to see what becomes of the Pogues in this next daring escapade. Press play on the newly released trailer to get a hint of what’s in store for the beloved characters in Season 4.
