Over 55 injured in Los Angeles collision between University of Southern California bus and train

At least 55 people were injured, two seriously, when a Metro light rail train collided with a University of Southern California shuttle bus in downtown Los Angeles. The crash occurred near the USC campus and Natural History Museum. Two victims were hospitalized with serious injuries and 16 others were transported in fair condition, with 37 people treated at the scene. The bus crossed into the path of the train, causing the collision. The bus driver and passenger were the most severely injured. The Los Angeles Police Department will lead the investigation, and Metro provided buses to transport passengers through the affected area.
