Paint Me Like Your French Girls

Jennifer Garner’s sense of humor knows no bounds—even her dog isn’t spared from her playful antics.

On Wednesday, August 28, Garner posted a short clip on Instagram featuring her golden retriever, Birdie, lounging on the kitchen floor. As Birdie glances over her shoulder and eventually walks away, the real fun begins in post-production.

Garner set the clip to Tinashe’s hit song “Nasty,” specifically the lyric, “Is somebody gonna match my freak?” But she didn’t stop there—Garner’s caption added an extra dose of humor, reading, “Draw me like one of your French girls.”

The comment section was a treasure trove of reactions.

One fan wrote, “Omg. We say this about our cats all the time.” Another chimed in with, “Strike a pose!” A third offered a clever pun: “Is somebody gonna match my woof?”

This isn’t the first time Garner has shared the fun she has with her furry friends. Earlier this summer, the 13 Going on 30 star posted a video of Birdie participating in the viral “hands in” challenge.

In this challenge, pet owners place their hands together in front of their cats or dogs, much like a team preparing for a group cheer, to see if their pets will join in.

In the video, Garner and someone off-camera stack their hands in front of Birdie, waiting to see if she’ll join in like part of the team. Garner encourages her, saying, “Did you see, Birdie? Yeah, you did.” And sure enough, Birdie places her paw on top of the human hands, nailing the challenge on the first try.

Of course, Garner couldn’t let the moment pass without some self-deprecating humor, noting in the caption that she had “much less success with the puppy.”

Classic Jen, always keeping it real.
