Panels from Marvel, DC, and More

San Diego Comic-Con is set to make a grand comeback in 2024, bringing together creators, cosplayers, and celebrities after years of virtual events and scaled-down versions. This year promises to be a return to form with an extensive lineup of panels and attendees.

After missing in-person events in 2020 and 2021, the geek culture extravaganza opted for virtual showcases with SDCC@Home. While 2022 marked its return with pandemic-proof measures, and 2023 saw a reduced turnout from major studios due to the actors’ strike, 2024 sees the convention roaring back with big names and exciting reveals.

Marvel Studios and DC Studios are slated to make a significant presence at Hall H and the convention floor, unveiling footage and teasers from their upcoming projects. Paramount+ plans to spotlight the Star Trek Universe, animated Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and commemorate the 25th Anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants, while Paramount Pictures promises an engaging showcase involving the voices behind the Transformers One.
