Paris Hilton Addresses Concerns Over Son Not Wearing Life Jacket

Paris Hilton has recently addressed concerns from fans about a video she posted featuring her one-year-old son, Phoenix.

The reality TV star shared a TikTok video showing Phoenix exploring a large boat. The video, captioned “Watching Phoenix explore the world has been so special to me! I am so grateful to be a #SlivingMom,” depicts her son in a maroon outfit taking in the surroundings.

While the video highlights a joyous moment for Hilton, fans quickly took to the comments to express their worry. They pointed out that Phoenix should have been wearing a life jacket despite not leaving the boat. Comments ranged from, “Momma, please have him wear a life jacket always on a boat!! Stuff happens. That’s why they’re called accidents. With love,” to, “My anxiety not seeing him in a life jacket! Can never be too safe on the water!”

Responding to these concerns, Hilton commented on her own post. She wrote, “Hey Mamma’s, thank you for the advice & always caring about my #CutesieCrew. It’s a big boat & my husband and I are following him around everywhere & watching like hawks. My babies are my world!”

Support for Hilton also emerged among commentators. Defenders noted the size of the boat and its safety features. One user mentioned, “Guys this boat is way bigger than it seems in this video. A life jacket would be silly, and worst case scenario, they taught him to swim.”

Another echoed this sentiment, stating, “Do people not realize that this is a big boat with guard rails? She’s extremely close to him and it seems like he’s not coming close to the edges. How did people live before all the extra protections?”

Such concern over Phoenix’s safety isn’t new. In May, Hilton posted a video of a family vacation on TikTok, which also drew attention for similar reasons. The video showed Phoenix wearing a Puddle Jumper life jacket incorrectly, with the front vest on his back. A concerned mother quickly pointed out the mistake in the comments, suggesting that the life jacket seemed to be on backward.
