Planning Underway for Shifty Shellshock’s L.A. Celebration of Life

Shifty Shellshock’s loved ones are preparing to honor him with a special celebration of life event. Ilya Krokav, a close childhood friend of Shifty, shared that the celebration will take place within the next month in Los Angeles. The event will welcome both friends, family, and fans.

They are currently in the process of selecting a venue that can accommodate several hundred attendees. Although the details of the musical tribute have not yet been finalized, it promises to be a memorable event.

Artists who collaborated with Shifty, whose real name was Seth Binzer, during his career will perform. Additionally, organizers are working with renowned graffiti artists who were friends with the Crazy Town singer to create murals in his honor around Los Angeles.

Crazy Town will play a significant role in the celebration. Bret “Epic” Mazur, a key member of the band, is deeply involved in the planning and is thoughtfully considering how he will honor Shifty at the event.

According to Krokav, Shifty’s family has given their approval for this public observance and, while no specific family members have been confirmed to attend, it is believed some will be present.

In addition to this public celebration, Shifty’s family will hold a separate, private service to remember him.

As previously reported, Shifty Shellshock, aged 49, passed away last month at a residence in Los Angeles. The cause of death is still under investigation by the L.A. County medical examiner. However, the band’s manager, Howie Hubberman, has indicated that Shifty’s death was due to an accidental overdose.
