Dazhon Darien is facing charges of theft, stalking, disruption of school operations, and retaliation against a witness. The fake audio was made in retaliation against the principal’s investigation into mishandling of school funds. The recording circulated on social media, causing the temporary removal of the principal and hate-filled messages. Experts confirmed that the audio was manipulated using AI, leading to potential termination of the suspect’s contract. The school system denounced the statements in the recording and is taking appropriate action.
