Police arrest protesters at Columbia University during Gaza demonstration | Protesters detained as NYPD dismantles Gaza rally

Several hundred New York City police officers were dispatched to Columbia University campus in response to protests over Israel’s actions in Gaza. The police entered Hamilton Hall where students had been occupying the building in protest, leading to multiple arrests. At Brown University, students reached an agreement with administrators to peacefully end their protests.
