Police break up pro-Gaza protest at Northeastern University, make arrests – reported by NBC Boston

Around 100 people were arrested as police dismantled pro-Palestinian encampments at Northeastern University. Students were warned to go home, but continued protesting. The university called the demonstration a violation of the student code of conduct. Despite this, many students were willing to face discipline in their call for a ceasefire in Gaza and divestment from companies linked to Israel. Alina Caudle defended the peaceful demonstration, criticizing the university for their support of the arrests. Over 100 people face charges and are being transported to the Suffolk County House of Correction. Northeastern University confirmed the arrest of approximately 100 people.
