Police clear pro-Palestinian student protest at Northeastern University in Boston

Police cleared pro-Palestinian protesters from an encampment at Northeastern University in Boston on Saturday. Dozens of protesters had been at the tent encampment on Centennial Common since Thursday. On Saturday, police detained around 100 people, some of whom were students with zip ties and sat on the ground. Those who produced a university ID were released but will face potential discipline. Massachusetts State Police arrested 102 individuals for trespassing and disorderly conduct. Northeastern University accused protesters of using antisemitic slurs, which protesters deny. Other Massachusetts colleges have seen similar protests inspired by Columbia University.
