Police shoot suspect near Suncoast High School in one incident

A shooting in the parking lot of Suncoast Community High School in Riviera Beach led to a large police presence and lockdown on Monday morning. One person was wounded and taken to the hospital after a police-involved shooting near the school. The school district confirmed that no students or staff were harmed, and all students were safe and secure on campus. Nearby schools were also placed on limited movement but have since been cleared. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has taken over the investigation, and the school remains open but parents can choose to pick up their children.
