Porsha Williams Mourns Family Member Who Appeared With Her on Bravo

Porsha Williams, known for her role in “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” is grappling with a heartbreaking loss. Currently filming the 16th season of the Bravo reality series, after a two-season break, Williams shared the sad news of her cousin Yolanda “Londie” Favors’ passing. Londie, who was just 35, had appeared in Williams’ spin-off series, “Porsha’s Family Matters.”

The spin-off series documented a turbulent international trip that included Williams, her then-fiancé Simon Guobadia, her ex-fiancé and the father of her child Dennis McKinley, along with their families. Londie’s appearance on the show highlighted her feelings of being distant and overlooked within the family.

The cause of Londie’s death has not been disclosed. Williams honored her cousin’s memory with a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. “Londie – you were our best friend, our sister, our aunt, our cousin, and so much more,” she wrote. “Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, and you are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. The impact and value you provided all of us during your time here was tremendous, but we know that your spirit will always be with us every day guiding us through this difficult time and what’s still to come. For that, we’re eternally grateful.”

Williams’ sister, Lauren, also shared a touching tribute, referring to Londie as her “soulmate” in a video montage.

This tragic loss comes amid a turbulent period for Williams. After just 15 months of marriage, she has announced her separation from Simon Guobadia. Their split has been marred by allegations against Guobadia, including claims of him being an illegal immigrant and having a fraudulent past. The animosity between the two has played out publicly on social media, with disputes over citizenship status and finances.

In the wake of their split, Guobadia has requested that Williams be removed from their marital home and barred from filming there. Williams has refrained from discussing the separation in interviews, but leaked text messages from court documents reveal that she ended the marriage following media reports of Guobadia’s fraudulent history.
