Possible Wind and Hail in Florida Friday Storms

Friday in Central Florida is declared an Impact Day as two waves of strong/severe storms are expected. The first wave will hit in the afternoon/evening, with another possible round late at night. Northern areas will likely see strong/severe storms, with isolated severe weather threats in between. Wind and hail are the main concerns, with a possibility of isolated tornadoes. The second wave of storms may not be severe. Saturday will be sunny and dry, with warm weather in the lower 90s for Mother’s Day weekend. The weather will become active next week with more showers and storms.
