Poster for Solar Opposites Season 5 Released

Solar Opposites is gearing up for its grand return with Season 5 this summer, and Hulu has just released a new poster to celebrate this highly anticipated comeback! The animated series previously experienced significant changes before its fourth season, especially after Hulu parted ways with former co-creator and voice of Korvo, Justin Roiland. These developments had a considerable impact, leaving fans eager to see how the storyline progresses from the cliffhangers of Season 4. Fortunately, the wait for new episodes is nearly over.

While there has been little information about the upcoming season, fans can look forward to the new episodes of Solar Opposites starting on August 12th on Hulu. To mark the occasion, the show unveiled a special poster showcasing the core members of the makeshift family.

Solar Opposites Season 5 is set to premiere on August 12th on Hulu. However, the total number of episodes for this season remains undisclosed. Dan Stevens, who took over the role of Korvo from Justin Roiland in Season 4, will reprise his character. The rest of the main cast, including Thomas Middleditch as Terry, Sean Giambrone as Yumyulack, and Mary Mack as Jesse, will also be returning.

Reflecting on the previous season, Hulu described Solar Opposites Season 4 as a blend of settling into a ‘normal’ mode, only to dive back into the usual sci-fi chaos, mayhem in the Wall, and Silvercops’ adventures. All previous seasons and holiday specials remain available for streaming on Hulu.

On the subject of the voice change for Korvo, producer Sydney Ryan shared insights with ComicBook. “We didn’t want to match the previous voice and felt like it would come across like we were doing a cover song,” Ryan said. ” Solar is a show where wild stuff can happen, and since the aliens already have ray guns that can do all sorts of things, we thought it would be funny to use this in-show method to explain the voice change. Even with a big shift, we still wanted to preserve the humor and emotional aspects that we’ve built for Korvo over the years. We worked with our casting team, listened to a ton of auditions, and met with some incredible actors.”
