University President Michael Schill praised the community for reaching an agreement with pro-Palestinian activists who had been protesting on campus. Demonstrators agreed to remove most tents and only use approved sound devices. Schill condemned incidents of antisemitism during the protest, acknowledging his personal connection to the issue as a Jew. He emphasized the importance of addressing the concerns of Jewish, Muslim, and Palestinian students to move forward.
