In 2018, Delevingne made headlines by attending Eugenie’s wedding in a stylish top hat and suit, defying the dress code that requested women to wear dresses. Delevingne, who identifies as genderfluid, initially hesitated to showcase her masculine side at the royal event. However, Eugenie provided heartfelt encouragement for her friend to stay true to herself. “Eugenie has been a friend of mine since I was a kid and I’ve always wanted to wear tails,” Delevingne shared with Grazia in an interview cited by Hello! magazine. “I texted her, as I wasn’t sure about it, and she was like: ‘Of course, I expected nothing else from you!'”
