Pro-Palestinian protestors at UNH arrested by police

Police arrested pro-Palestinian protestors at the University of New Hampshire for setting up tents on the property without permission. After three warnings, police in riot gear arrived. UNH police Chief Paul Dean stated that the main concern was non-affiliated protestors on campus. Many protestors were arrested, with Dean clarifying that they had to prevent an encampment from forming. Despite not wanting to make arrests, law enforcement had to enforce the rules. Similar arrests were made at Dartmouth College’s pro-Palestine protest. Videos of the arrests were broadcast live.
