Protest supporting Palestine held at Emory University in Atlanta

Protesters were arrested at Emory University in Atlanta on Thursday morning for allegedly protesting the treatment of Palestine and the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center. The clash involved pro-Palestinian protesters and those against the training facility, resulting in 28 arrests, including 20 members of the Emory community. The protesters demanded divestment from Israeli apartheid and Cop City, challenging Emory University’s complicity in genocide. The Atlanta police used force to remove the protesters, sparking a broader conversation on protests nationwide.
