Protests at US Colleges: Large Numbers Arrested Nationwide in Gaza Campus Demonstrations

Police have been arresting more protesters across the US as demonstrations against the war in Gaza escalate on university campuses. Over 100 arrests were made at Emerson College in Boston, with 93 more at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. Similar clashes occurred at the University of Texas in Austin where 34 people were arrested. Students across the country have been walking out of classes to protest Israel’s military campaign in Gaza. The protests are demanding divestment from companies supporting the conflict and accusing Israel of genocide.
