Protests supporting Palestine grow on USC and University of Texas-Austin campuses: NPR

Pro-Palestinian protests erupted at the University of Southern California and The University of Texas at Austin, leading to dozens of arrests at each campus. USC warned students to avoid the center of campus where the protests were taking place. LAPD arrested 93 people for trespassing at USC, with one person arrested for assault. UT Austin President commended law enforcement for their response. Protests at other universities have also led to arrests and repercussions, with House Speaker Mike Johnson calling for Columbia University’s President to resign. Columbia’s board of trustees, however, expressed support for the President during this challenging time.
