Ree Drummond’s Daughter’s Engagement Party Reunites Familiar Faces

Ree Drummond’s daughter Paige recently celebrated her engagement, and the occasion brought together some familiar faces for longtime fans of Drummond’s blog and Food Network show, “The Pioneer Woman.”

Drummond took to her blog to share photos of the happy couple and party guests, including some who have appeared on her social media. Notable among them was her daughter Alex, who is expecting her first baby with her husband Mauricio.

Drummond’s husband Ladd, affectionately known as the “Marlboro Man,” was there to celebrate his daughter’s engagement. Fans will recognize Ladd as the cattle rancher who often pops up in the background of his wife’s social media videos, often during work days or while taste-testing her recipes.

Ladd’s brother Tim and his wife Missy, both frequent figures on “The Pioneer Woman” ranch, were also in attendance. Additionally, fans might spot several grandparent figures, as Drummond’s parents and in-laws have often made appearances on her show.

One reunion, in particular, was with Drummond’s nephew Stu. Stu frequently appeared on the show as a child and even assisted with filming in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, when “The Pioneer Woman” temporarily dispensed with their camera crew in favor of family-filmed scenes.

Though Stu left to attend college, he made his return to celebrate his cousin Paige’s engagement. To commemorate the moment, Drummond shared a humorous and slightly NSFW story about Stu’s indirect role in Paige’s life.

“Considering Paige has Stu to thank for her life, his presence was fitting,” Drummond wrote in her blog. “When Stu’s mom gave birth to Stu, I visited her in the hospital and was overcome with baby fever to the point that I called Ladd on the way home and informed him that I was, in fact, getting pregnant that night. And I did. Was that TMI?”

Paige Drummond is one of five children that Ree Drummond shares with her husband Ladd. As the second-oldest child, Paige has been a familiar face on Drummond’s Food Network show and a fixture around the family’s farm property.

Her older sister, Alex, is currently pregnant with the family’s first grandchild, adding another layer of joy to the recent celebrations.
