Report: Kansas Man Murders Wife and Buys Sex Doll with Life Insurance Payout

About 21 months after Kristen Trickle’s death, her husband, Mr. Trickle, was charged with murder. He had bought a $2,000 life-size sex doll just two days after receiving his wife’s insurance payout. Initially, he had called 911 to report her suicide, but suspicious circumstances led investigators to believe he was involved. He cashed in on her life insurance policies, spending the money on the doll and other items. Mr. Trickle was eventually found guilty of murder, sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole for 50 years.
