Second person involved in Nudieland mass shooting apprehended

A second suspect, a 17-year-old from Onamia, Minn., is in juvenile detention and due in court for charges related to a mass shooting at a Minneapolis punk show last summer. The charges include aiding and abetting murder and assault. An 18-year-old suspect, Dominic James Burris of Hinckley, Minn., has already been charged. The shooting at a house venue called Nudieland injured six people and killed August Golden, a 35-year-old member of Minneapolis’ DIY punk scene. Many believe the shooters targeted attendees because of their LGBTQ+ identity. Prosecutors have not charged the crime as bias-motivated, but may add the enhancement later.
