Two people were killed and four others were injured in a shooting at Market Square during Fiesta San Antonio. SAPD Chief William McManus confirmed the incident with officers involved, but none were injured. The shooting occurred when two individuals began firing at each other, leading to the officers returning fire. The injured were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries or released on-site. Video footage showed people running for safety during the chaos. Authorities have not disclosed whether the victims were hit by the suspects or police gunfire. Initially, six people were reported injured, later corrected to four.
