Snowfall Accumulation in Colorado: Amounts Received during Spring Storm

Parts of Colorado’s mountains received over a foot of snow from a spring storm system. A Winter Weather Advisory and Winter Storm Watch were issued for higher elevations from Friday to early Sunday. Mount Audubon recorded nearly two feet of snow, with many locations reporting over a foot of snow. More snow was expected Sunday morning before tapering off in the afternoon and evening. The Denver metro area also saw rain turn into snow, but with minimal accumulations. Tips for removing snow from trees include checking for utility lines and using a broom to gently shake off snow. Several inches of snow were reported across Colorado, prompting caution with falling limbs and potential power line hazards.
