Sources: Trump and DeSantis reconcile after 2024 primary battle

DeSantis sought to “bury the hatchet” through a mutual contact, real estate investor Steve Witkoff. The governor endorsed Trump once he exited the race, despite previous disagreements. DeSantis is now planning to fundraise for Trump’s 2024 campaign. Both DeSantis’ office and Trump’s campaign declined to comment on the meeting. The pair’s rocky relationship seems to be on the mends as they have a shared goal of defeating the current incumbent, Joe Biden.
