Stephen Baldwin extended his congratulations to his daughter Hailey Bieber following the birth of her first child with husband Justin Bieber, despite their ongoing familial tensions.
The well-known producer took to X on Friday, alongside Justin Bieber’s mother, Pattie Mallette, to express his joy for the couple.
“CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber & Hailey,” Mallette excitedly wrote in all caps. “I LOVE YOU FOREVER BABY JACK!!”
Moments later, Baldwin, 58, added, “Amen, Congratulations to you and may God continue to bless our family.”
In July, Hailey revealed she’s no longer “super close” with her famous family, telling W Magazine that she feels the distance because she’s “very independent.”
“I’m my own individual now, and I’ve built my own family,” the 27-year-old model stated, emphasizing that she still holds “very fond, beautiful memories” of her childhood.
Soon after, her father seemed to respond to her comments with a selfie video captioned with a thoughtful message.
“Today, staying positive is a choice! So, I’m trusting in the power of joy, peace, and happiness. Finally, if anyone hasn’t told you today, 😘 I LOVE YOU ❤️🔥,” he wrote, seemingly addressing the drift between them.
Hailey and Justin, who officially tied the knot at a New York City courthouse in 2018, announced the birth of their first child together, Jack Blues Bieber, on Friday.
On Instagram, the “Never Say Never” singer shared the joyful news with a photo of the newborn’s tiny feet, held by his wife.
“WELCOME HOME,” he captioned the post.
In 2019, the couple celebrated with an official lavish wedding ceremony in South Carolina, surrounded by family and celebrity friends, including Kendall Jenner and Jaden Smith.
Hailey and Justin first revealed they were expecting in May, sharing several adorable photos from their vow renewal in Hawaii.
Hailey debuted her baby bump while wearing a lace Saint Laurent gown.
