‘Suits’ Fan-Favorite Actor Joins ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff

Yellowstone fans have exciting times ahead. The final episodes of the original series are slated to debut this November. Additionally, new details regarding the cast of the Yellowstone spin-off, The Madison, have emerged. Suits star Patrick J. Adams is set to feature prominently in this new show. Here’s what we know about his role.

Patrick J. Adams has officially joined the cast of the Yellowstone spin-off, The Madison. The 42-year-old actor, renowned for his role as Mike Ross on Suits, will be portraying Russell McIntosh in the new series. According to the character description, Russell “has followed the life path set before him from the start.”

Since the end of Suits in 2019, Patrick has starred in the limited series Plan B and made his Broadway debut in Take Me Out.

The Madison is the first sequel to the wildly successful Paramount show Yellowstone, with creator Taylor Sheridan at the helm. The show’s description suggests it will be a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection.” The Madison revolves around a family of five who relocate from New York City to Madison River Valley in Montana.

Apart from Patrick J. Adams, Michelle Pfeiffer has also been confirmed as part of the cast. Chris McCarthy, president of Showtime & MTV Entertainment, stated, “Michelle Pfeiffer is a remarkable talent who imbues every role with emotional depth, authenticity, and grace. She is the perfect anchor to the newest chapter of the Yellowstone universe, The Madison, from the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan.”

Yellowstone enthusiasts are thrilled about Michelle Pfeiffer joining the lineup. “Has she ever given a bad performance? I’ll definitely watch it,” remarked one fan on social media platform X. Another added that they were eager to see her “shake things up.”

Michelle Pfeiffer is not only acting in the series but also serving as an executive producer.

The cast also includes Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, and Kurt Russell. Production for The Madison is expected to commence later this month, with a potential premiere date in 2025.

Moreover, Paramount had announced another Yellowstone sequel called 2024. However, it appears the network opted to rename it The Madison. Initially, the proposed cast for 2024 included Matthew McConaughey, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, and Cole Hauser.

The network has yet to confirm whether 2024 has been definitively replaced by The Madison.

Fans of the original Yellowstone series can look forward to its final episodes, which are scheduled to air later this year. Season 5, Part 2, will premiere on November 10 at 8 p.m. EST on Paramount Network.
