Superman & Lois’ Final Season Moves to a New Night

Superman & Lois’ farewell run will take flight on a brand-new night.

TVLine has learned that the last Arrowverse(-adjacent) series standing will now unveil its final season on Monday nights at 8/7c, beginning Oct. 7.

The CW’s original fall schedule had Superman & Lois Season 4 airing on Thursdays; instead, the network’s new “board games” line-up of Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit will premiere Thursday, Oct. 3 and claim that night.

One week after Superman & Lois’ final season premiere, the recently announced The Wranglers—an eight-part docuseries exploring the world of professional cowboys and cowgirls on a Montana dude ranch—will debut, Monday, Oct. 14 at 9 pm.

The CW has been busy adjusting its 2024-25 schedule in recent weeks. Most recently, its The Librarians: The Final Chapter reboot was pulled from the post-Superman & Lois slot, and days later was officially sold to TNT, where it will now air.

On Superman & Lois, following a casting shake-up at the end of Season 3, only five actors are returning as series regulars: Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent/Superman, Bitsie Tulloch as Lois Lane, Alex Garfin as Jordan Kent, Michael Bishop as Jonathan Kent 2.0, and Michael Cudlitz as Lex Luthor.

The show is also (at least partially) relocating from Smallville to Metropolis, where we’ll encounter a few more iconic DC characters, including Douglas Smith as Daily Planet photographer Jimmy Olsen.

A new trailer confirms that we’ll still see several familiar faces from previous seasons, even if they won’t be appearing regularly.
