Suspect Captured in Washington Amber Alert, Child Found Unharmed

Elias Huizar is suspected of killing his ex-wife and girlfriend in Washington and abducting a 1-year-old, sparking a multi-state manhunt. The child is now in police custody. A manhunt was initiated after the incident occurred, particularly since Huizar was a former police officer and considered armed and dangerous. The suspect was found near Eugene, Oregon after a police chase resulting in a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The 1-year-old was rescued safely.
