Suzanne Morphew, who went missing on Mother’s Day 2020, confirmed to be a victim of homicide

The death of Suzanne Morphew, a Colorado woman reported missing on Mother’s Day nearly four years ago, has been ruled a homicide. The autopsy report indicated she died by “undetermined means” with a cocktail of tranquilizer drugs found in one of her bones. Her husband, Barry Morphew, had previously been arrested on suspicion of murder, but the charges were dropped due to evidence issues. Prosecutors are still investigating and considering refiling charges. Barry Morphew’s attorney claims Suzanne was abducted, drugged, and killed by someone else. The investigation is ongoing, with the possibility of new charges being filed.
