Tarek El Moussa Responds to Rumor About Message on Ex Christina Hall’s Divorce

Tarek El Moussa has firmly denied rumors suggesting he posted a subtle message about his ex-wife Christina Hall’s recent divorce.

On Monday, Tarek shared a photo on his Instagram stories featuring a street sign labeled “Bittersweet Lane.” Fans quickly speculated that the post was a discreet reference to Christina Hall’s recent divorce from her husband, Josh Hall, after three years of marriage.

Tarek swiftly addressed the speculation, clarifying in a follow-up Instagram story, “This has nothing to do with Christina.”

“I was on a walk looking at cool houses and found the street name neat and wanted to share,” Tarek explained. “Please stop sending me nasty messages. Thank you.”

While it may seem a stretch to connect the street name to the recent news, Tarek’s post did come just days after Christina and Josh filed to dissolve their marriage.

Josh, 43, initiated the divorce proceedings by filing for dissolution of marriage on July 16, citing irreconcilable differences, according to court documents. The documents list the date of separation as July 8. Christina, 41, has also filed her divorce papers, marking the end of their whirlwind relationship.

The couple’s romance began in 2021 following Christina’s high-profile and tumultuous divorce from Ant Anstead. In July 2021, Christina opened up about her new relationship with Josh in an Instagram post, expressing a desire to shield him from the intense public scrutiny she often faced.

In September 2021, Christina announced their engagement on Instagram, showcasing a diamond ring during a vacation in Mexico. The couple secretly wed in April 2022 and later celebrated their union with a second ceremony in Hawaii that September, with Christina’s children in attendance.

Christina shares daughter Taylor, 13, and son Brayden, 8, with Tarek, as well as son Hudson, 4, with Ant Anstead.

ET learned last week that Christina and Tarek’s upcoming HGTV series, “The Flip Off,” will still move forward despite Christina’s divorce.

Just months after HGTV announced that the exes and “Flip or Flop” alums would reunite for a new TV show that features them going head-to-head with their respective spouses — Tarek is married to “Selling Sunset” star Heather Rae El Moussa — it appears things are undergoing some changes.

The show, set to premiere in 2025 according to a previous network release, was initially pitched as a competition between the married couples to “see who can find, buy, renovate, and flip a house for the biggest financial gain, and the chance at bragging rights.”

According to a source close to “The Flip Off” production, the show only recently started filming scenes “a few weeks ago,” and the team is still “figuring out what the plan is moving forward” without Josh in the picture.
