Taylor Swift Pauses Eras Tour Mid-Song After Swallowing a Bug

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour faced another quirky interruption as the 34-year-old artist had to pause her performance after swallowing a bug in Milan, Italy.

In the midst of singing and playing the piano, Swift began coughing and had to clarify her situation to the amused audience.

“I knew that would happen because there’s so many bugs here tonight…I’ll be fine in one second, I just need to cough a little bit,” she said, turning away from the mic momentarily.

Fans found the incident hilarious, responding with comments like, “Bug: 3 Taylor: 0,” and “her favorite snack.”

One fan joked that it was an Easter egg, saying, “Bug Count: 3 Taylor will announce Rep TV when she swallows her 6th Bug.”

Another fan expressed their amusement by reacting, “THE THIRD TIME IM CRYINGGG.” The event led to a meme that counted all three bug incidents during her ongoing Eras Tour, with someone commenting, “if Taylor Swift had a nickel for every time she swallowed a bug on The Eras Tour she would have three nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it’s happened three times.”

Swift is expected to complete her second and final date in Milan on July 14, after which she will head to Gelsenkirchen, Germany, for three shows next week.
