Taylor Swift’s Dad Brings Chicken Tenders for All at London Concert: Watch

Just when you think Taylor Swift’s concerts couldn’t get any more memorable, this happens. While you may be thinking the singer-songwriter did something extraordinary during her last performance on her Era’s Tour, it was actually her father stealing the spotlight.

While his daughter performed on stage, Scott Swift ensured that her fans were well-fed. A fan posted a video on TikTok of Taylor Swift’s dad walking around and handing out chicken tenders. The note over the video read, “Scott handing out chicken tenders during style somehow makes sense.”

Not only was the gesture kind, but according to the fan, the chicken was also fresh. Viewers can hear her thank Scott for the chicken. Then, she turns the camera towards herself and states, “The chicken is fresh.”

The fan, who goes by stephaniemiec, then tagged Taylor Swift in her TikTok and said, “Tell your dad I said thank you; it was just what I needed.” While PEOPLE has some speculation about the reasoning behind this seemingly out-of-place concert snack, no official reasoning has been given yet.

According to the publication, some believe the gesture is “a nod to a September 2023 post on X (formerly Twitter) of a fan posting with Taylor while she was at a Kansas City Chiefs game supporting her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.”

Taylor Swift’s dad handing out chicken tenders was not the only surprise of the Era’s Tour. Fans also got a surprise guest appearance from the singer-songwriter’s longtime friend Ed Sheeran. Ed joined Taylor on August 15th and sang Everything Has Changed and End Game together.

Taylor’s fans also believe that Taylor hinted at the release of Reputation (Taylor’s version) during her August 17th performance. It seems like whenever you go to a Taylor Swift concert, you are in for plenty of wonderful surprises.
