Taylor Swift's Take on Sabrina Carpenter's Remarkable Year

Taylor Swift’s Take on Sabrina Carpenter’s Remarkable Year

Taylor Swift is enthusiastically supporting her friend Sabrina Carpenter. On July 4, Carpenter took to Instagram to share some exciting news: her upcoming Short ‘n Sweet Tour is officially sold out, and her song “Espresso” has hit No. 1 on pop radio.

“And just like that you guys sold out the entire Short ‘n Sweet Tour, ‘Espresso’ went #1 at pop radio and I slid down this slide :’) thank you all so so much!!!” Carpenter wrote on Instagram. “I can’t wait to see you on the road,” she added enthusiastically.

Swift couldn’t resist joining the celebration. She chimed in the comments section, showering Carpenter with praise and excitement for her milestone year. “SUMMER OF SABRINA AND MAY IT CONTINUE FOREVER,” Swift commented.

2023 has indeed been momentous for both Swift and Carpenter. Swift launched her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which not only debuted with the year’s biggest first-week sales, hitting 2.6 million copies, but also smashed streaming records for the largest single-day streams on Spotify. Moreover, Swift made history by becoming the first artist to occupy the entire top 14 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart when the album debuted.

Carpenter has had her share of the spotlight, too. She opened for Swift on the Eras Tour, a significant achievement in itself. Following that, she released her single “Espresso,” which became her first top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She didn’t stop there. Carpenter followed up with “Please Please Please,” a song that quickly went viral on TikTok and impressively clinched the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
