Teacher in Maryland arrested following claims that principal was framed with AI-generated racist rant

A Maryland high school teacher, Dazhon Darien, was arrested for using artificial intelligence to create fake audio of his boss, principal Eric Eiswert, saying racist and antisemitic words in January. Darien, a physical education teacher at Pikesville High School, had a dispute with Eiswert over work performance. The viral audio caused disruptions at the school, and Eiswert has been on paid leave. Investigators linked the email used to send the audio to Darien’s grandmother’s internet service provider. A forensic analyst found AI-generated content in the recording. Darien accessed AI tools on the school’s network before sending the audio. Darien and his family have not commented on the incident.
